Alongside her tableware, Ingrid shapes jars and free forms: crackles, layers, smoked surfaces. Each object exists only once.
Ingrid Debard
Born in France, Ingrid studied art before moving to Israel at 22. There she discovered the wheel, then trained in ceramic design at the Jerusalem Academy of Arts.
Today she creates and teaches in her studio at Giv’at Brenner. Tableware and art objects come from the same gesture: clay worked slowly, pared-back forms, surfaces that keep the trace of the hand.
